Ron Lentz
Founder and CEO
Ron Lentz is the founder and CEO of LogisticsEquity, LLC. Leveraging his strategic leadership expertise and the experiences of his alliance partners, Ron has created the Next Generation Solutions Service Company. His responsibilities include helping create double-digit enterprise value to small and mid-tier Logistics Service Providers.
Ron has distinguished himself as a leader and visionary in Global / Domestic Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions in a diverse group of customers ranging from start-ups to many of the Fortune 500 Companies. Ron has over 30 years experience in strategic business development working for Ryder Integrated Logistics (Vice President Global Sales & Marketing), Neoris (Partner), Geo Logistics (Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing), Banta Global Turnkey (Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales & Marketing) and STI (Executive Vice President / Chief Sales & Marketing Officer).
He has extensive experience in formulating strategy and plans for growth, brand awareness, new businesses, new markets, new products/services, and new technologies. Additionally, Ron’s background includes work in business restructuring, lean and Six Sigma operations, and working with both Venture Capital and Private Equity Firms.
Ron has been a Key Note speaker for Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and other industry events and forums.
Ron has developed a “proven methodology” for the efficient market segment analysis of a company, mapping their vision to an actionable strategic plan. Through research tools the methodology strategically helps to diversify a company’s service offerings and their customer base. This proven methodology uses measurement tools to accurately forecast all aspects of a company’s business model.
Ron has always believed in giving back to the community. He proudly supports Children’s Memorial Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois. He and his wife have been granting wishes for over 40 children with life-threatening illnesses for the past 11 years. He has also headed up a program for Hurricane Relief Victims.
Ron holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Management from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He has done post graduate work at University of Michigan, Penn State and Georgia Tech.
Tom Wojcik
Vice President, Solutions Delivery
Tom brings his 3PL experience, innovative solutions, and execution excellence to LogisticsEquity.
Prior to joining LogisticsEquity in 2008, Tom led the Supply Chain Management (SCM) practice at Encore Consulting. His responsibilities included SCM strategic direction, relationship management, deployment quality, marketing, and staff management.
From 2001 through 2004, Tom served as Director, Transportation and Integration, at ConAgra Foods, where he built the Transportation & Integration team responsible for supporting the newly-formed Corporate Integrated Logistics organization. Tom and his team successfully designed and implemented enterprise-wide integrated transportation and warehousing business processes, complemented by supporting applications and technology. This initiative enabled the conversion of 10 separate operating company distribution chains into a single enterprise distribution chain.
Prior to ConAgra Foods, Tom served as Director, IT Solutions, at Ryder Integrated Logistics. In his role, he served as the lead IT program manager for multiple implementations in the Electronics & High Tech market, managing IT project managers and subject matter experts from Scope through Post-Implementation Support phases. Tom has also held various management, technical and business development roles at Energes Incorporated, Xerox Corporation, and Sears Roebuck and Company. His industry experience with these companies includes high tech, retail, automotive, healthcare, insurance, and public utilities.
Tom’s career accomplishments have included successful business transformations in the Electronic and High Tech, Food Manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer Package Goods, Heavy Equipment, Business Services, and Retail industries. He has demonstrated experience in transportation, warehousing, order management, inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, integration, reporting, RFID, and Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM).
Tom is an active member of the Chicago Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
Tom received his BS in both Computer Science and Business Administration from MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Illinois, and has completed accredited courses towards Master of Science, Information Systems, at Northern Illinois University. He received his CompTIA RFID+ Certified Professional certification.
